I was a marathon runner, not competitive level but kept in shape through running and ran many races for fun until I was in a car accident 5 years ago which left me unable to get back to running. I have tried but my back and neck injuries cannot take it. Then, last year I hit 40. I started to really put weight on. At least for me. I'm not obese but I'm a good 20 lbs. heavier than I'd like. Well, I've tried diet, exercise as much as I can take and I think because my body was used to responding to the running, nothing did the trick and my metabolism just slowed without the running. No exercise was getting a response. I am very afraid of diet pills because of the horror stories in the news. Weight loss is not worth risk of stroking out. I read about Deca Slim and I bought some. I took it to my doctor and she said it looked like it would be fine. She said the main idea behind it is that the pill, when taken with lots of water 1/2-1 hour before you eat, releases a "gel" like substance in your stomach that makes you feel full. Well, it works for me. I have been on DecaSlim for 2 or 3 weeks now and I've lost 13 lbs. I do 25 minutes of mostly squat exercises and some stretching and crunches mixed in 2 or 3 days a week and I walk my dog briskly (he has to trot to keep up with me) for 2 miles 2 or 3 days a week. That is nothing compared to running 20 to up to 50 miles a week like I used to! I eat a protein bar or a fat free yogurt for breakfast and a "lean cuisine" or comparable frozen meal for lunch and then I eat a "normal" dinner meaning whatever I make for my family. I am not hungry. Some days I have to force myself to eat 3 meals but I do it to be healthy. Some days I do get a craving for a sweet or a snack and I have eaten fruit, salad or a pudding cup for a snack (only one of those and only once a day.) On the weekend, I don't watch it as closely but I am not hungry so weekends which used to be my "cheat" days and I lived for them are not so much focused on "cheating" and eating whatever I want. I am just not that hungry. Sometimes I have to force down a lean cuisine. I strongly recommend Deca Slim. It has really worked for me. I can not believe the results when nothing else was doing the trick. I have not had any side effects. I do not notice a difference in my skin but it has only been 2 or 3 weeks. I hope to lose another 4 or 5 in the next 2 weeks and have those old jeans fit comfortably again!
